In September 2017, we took a trip to Arizona to visit friends, family, and spend a few days hiking the Grand Canyon. After 20 miles down to the bottom and around the trails, we woke at 5am to begin the long trek back up and out.
10 miles later and on the last set of switchbacks, overlooking the open canyon and all that we were leaving behind, Peter proposed. Of course, the answer was yes. We knew this trip would only be the beginning and are taking that same adventurous spirit to Iceland, to start our next big journey.
