The A-list view

We arrived to our next house late in the afternoon on Friday. The drive was a little confusing because we had two different addresses, as well as some hand written instructions. Left at a horse farm, left down the gravel road…you know the kind.

It took me more than two months to settle on an AirBnB for this leg of the trip. I was looking for something convenient to sightseeing, and easily drivable to Reykjavík since we had to go back there on Monday. At the top of the list was any place with an outstanding view. …I think I got it right:

This place is pretty much my ideal home: A frame, loft space, incredible view, secondary “out” building that we would turn into a yoga studio and writing study. Plus, a hot tub.
